Spread the Love

Hey guysss! Sometimes, there will be times that certain topics within the Word touch you more than ever, and this may be because of a season you might find yourself in. This surely has happened for me, and it is during this time that I wanted to share this message, so enjoy!

As Christians, we should remember to have and place love in all of our actions! We have been blessed to receive never-ending love from our Father, a God who IS love and functions out of His love for us, so why don’t we share this blessing with others? We are His children, so we should share His love, and represent Him with love!

Out of His love for us, He sent His son Jesus, and as we read John 3:16, and Isaiah 53:5, we see that Jesus was punished to death in order to cover over our iniquities.

It is by the wounds made on the cross that we are healed, and this is the ultimate love of the Father! With this, we know we are His chosen people, and since we are chosen by Him, He has established facts and promises for us within the Word (1 Peter 2:9 NIV, Ephesians 1:4-5 NIV, and 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV).

Because of the sacrifices and displays of God made through Jesus, we can NEVER be separated from His love, NO MATTER what we do! (Romans 8:38-39 TPT).

With the love that our Father has for us, we should know how we are to spread and represent Him in love within the world. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, we learn about what our love for others should look like:

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

As believers, the love of God within our lives has also allowed us to claim things over our lives and situations, as said in 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV, 1 John 4:4 NLT, and Romans 8:37 NKJV. These things then help us to be bold and represent Christ as we believe these things over our situations.

Spreading love should be something that we as Christians feel personally led to do, as we are the children of a God who is love. We should be encouraged to share the good news that ultimately represents His love for us (Isaiah 61:1 NIV and Psalms 105:1 NIV), and in that, let people know about Psalms 86:5 and Romans 8:28, so they can begin to think of what God can do for them in His love:

5 You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you.

Romans 8:28 NIV

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

We should be elated to tell people that because He loves us we have been made fearfully and wonderfully, as it says in Psalms 139:14; and because He loves us He has plans to prosper us, as it says in Jeremiah 29:11. There are sooo many things that we are granted because He loves us, so let us make it our personal mission to bless others with this news. As this brings blessing to our lives, let us share this same encouragement with others! People need to be reminded of this, so they can have hope in their everyday lives.
